Outside (Buite)
You enter the studio apartment at the front of the house through the sliding door. In front of the entrance you can relax on the terrace and proces all the impressions that South Africa has given you during your trip to Bird Manor. This apartment comes with a large swimming pool and a boma where you have the opportunity for a traditional braai while enjoying the African sun and animals passing through.The lounge apartment upstairs is accessible via the stairs on the left side of the house. You enter through the garden gate where you immediately enter the enclosed backyard with a dipping pool and a braai area. Children can play while you relax with a book and work on your tan. Upstairs you have the possibility to sleep outside under the stars. Make sure to use the African jacuzzi ;-) In addition, you will enjoy all the animals passing by until late in the evening.
Downstairs (Onderste Verdieping)
Studio apartment -> DownstairsThe open floor living area is fitted with a queensize bed incl. musquitonet, airconditioning, a luxury open bathroom with a rainshower and handshower, toilet and 2 basins, of which one is wheelchair friendly. The kitchen area, also wheelchair friendly, contains a medium fridge-freezer, an electric (camping) heating plate, a snack oven, airfryer, a microwave, sandwich- and waffle maker, egg cooker, toaster and tea/coffeemaking facilities.
Extensive cooking is not possible in the downstairs apartment. When it is cold outside or it (finally!) rains, you will have a good couch with cushions to relax and you can have an easy dinner for 2 at the modern dining table. The whole apartment is wheelchair friendly.Take note: Preferably go out to eat or braai-> no cooking. An easy one-pan-meal or an “englisch breakfast” is duable.This downstairs studio apartment of Bird Manor is ideal for a single traveler, 2 travelers, people with difficulty walking or taking stairs, pensioners, etc. Guests that enjoy life and luxury.
Upstairs (Boonste Verdieping)
Lounge apartment -> UpstairsThis apartment offers a homely feel with an African-wooden-cabin-vibe. The sliding door opens onto a lovely living and dining (incl. airco) with a fully equipped kitchen. It contains a gas stove, microwave, a snack oven, airfryer, sandwich- and wafflemaker, egg cooker, toaster and a good size fridge + freezer. Tea/coffeemaking facilities are also provided. The 2 bedrooms are divided by the luxurious bathroom that has a walk-in-rainshower, 2 basins and a toilet. The main bedroom is fitted with a queensize bed incl. musquitonet and the second (kids)bedroom is fitted with a bunkbed. Both bedrooms have airconditioning.This upstairs lounge apartment of Bird Manor is perfect for guests travelling with children but also for guests who just want some privacy and enjoy nature and comfort in the bush.
